anyone been to meteor crater in arizona? its bigger than sedan crater at NTS (at least wider I think)

I've always wanted to go. Can you hike to the bottom of the crater? Say, can you get us in to the Sahara crater?
If people are interested, I'd go on the public offered tour of NTS. It's free and offered about every other month. You get to see Sedan Crater, Yucca Mountain and other interesting spots on the Site. I think they also give you lunch.-Brad
