New Roof - Summer 2019

Top showing prior roof and solar, then new roof & fascia boards, then finally new paint job on masonry (painting completed April 2020).  This gave us a new beautiful roof, all  new fascia trim, facilitated a clean perimeter video camera security system, a new solar tube light, removed noisy twirly bird vents with solar powered fans, added all new sheathing with reflective radiant barrier coating on the underside, and we replaced the rotted beams over the front courtyard.

Drone Footage showing the Improved Roof.

While I had the roof off I was able to have an electrician route CAT6 (Monoprice Cat6 Ethernet Patch Cable - Snagless RJ45, Stranded, 550Mhz, UTP, Pure Bare Copper Wire, 24AWG, 50ft, Black) cabling through the roof to strategic locations on the eve that allowed me to install a complete coverage of power over ethernet video security system.

Delivery of goods to the house, notice the dead tree parts.  Materials were lightweight concrete tile.

Entire roof sheathing replacement

We helped sand and stain all the new beams for installation

Nimble installers positioning the new beams.  Also notice the CAT6 Cable hanging from the eve.  Old camera can be seen just to the left of new cable.

Inside attic the new reflective radiant barrier can be seen.

New thick paper rolled into position.

Also added this Solar tube to the house.  It's great allowing natural light into the end of our hallway.  It was always such a dark tunnel of despair down our hallway.  Now there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

What does the tubelight look like from inside the house?
