The other day I was watching the Today show and they were following a man who was walking across the country and journaling the journey on his website, "Fat Man Walking" Sound familiar? I think he stole your brothers idea!
Ya - right after I posted that I checked out BOTH their websites and saw that your brother started later. Judging by the pics it looks like he lost more weight...great job!
I wish I could take the time to bike across the U.S!

actually my brother stole his idea, but thought biking would be better. He has lost over 120lbs now. His website is www.fatmancycling.com
